Course Leader: Linda M. Pullan
Linda Pullan has over 25 years industry experience after her PhD. She was in drug discovery research and was the team leader at Zeneca (now AstraZeneca) for the antipsychotic Seroquel. She switched to licensing and did deals for the US R&D organization, before becoming head of oncology licensing at Amgen, where she had the chance to be involved in everything from university licenses to Phase 3 compounds and company acquisitions. After 8 years, she joined Kosan Biosciences as VP of Business Development. For the last dozen or more years, she has led Pullan Consulting (www.PullanConsulting). Pullan Consulting provides advice and execution for biotech partnering and fund raising, with outreach to partners and investors, help with shaping of presentations, evaluations and market analysis, preliminary valuations and deal models, and negotiations from deal prep to term sheets to final agreements.
